Islam emphasizes a view of shared responsibility and mutual respect, with the husband providing primary financial support while the wife manages the domestic needs and children, but roles are considered complementary, not absolute.
The ultimate goal is to assist one another in attaining spiritual triumph and make the relationship a system to earn the pleasure of Allâh.
